EAI’s dedicated meeting professionals combine their talents and expertise with EAI’s marketing and communications departments to provide the most powerful convention and event capabilities in the industry
The primary showcase of an association is usually its annual convention or trade show. The spirit of affiliation, the feelings of camaraderie and the pride that comes with belonging can all be engendered by a well-run convention. Equally important for a well-run convention is that it generates a positive surplus, not a financial burden. One of the most effective strategies for making this happen is securing industry underwriting for events that otherwise couldn’t be conducted or would place a substantial burden on the association’s budget.
EAI executives are experienced in managing conventions and trade shows that produce a large bottom-line and will assume all responsibilities for promotion and coordination, including:
- Site selection
- Solicitation of grants to offset meeting expenses
- Negotiations with hotels, convention centers, caterers and suppliers
- Program planning, publicity and promotion
- Preparation and printing of all convention materials
- Promotion and sale of exhibit space
- Registration processing
- Post-meeting evaluations and preparation of accurate reports
